Britney Spears' recently announced Planet Hollywood residency is "the best-selling show in the history of Vegas," according to her manager Larry Rudolph.
The superstar's manager is speaking to "E News!" to clear up rumors after several tabloids reported that the first week of sales were less than expected. Rudolph says that "nothing could be further from the truth." He says that the highest-price VIP packages for the first 16 shows sold out "instantaneously" and that more had to be added due to the demand.
Rudolph adds that Caesars Entertainment is even considering putting up the next block of tickets on sale earlier than scheduled to meet the "high demand."
Caesars released a statement on Tuesday as well, saying that sales have been "extraordinary" and "as strong as" the sales for any of its other "iconic Las Vegas headliner shows."
