Kentucky Wildcats Head Coach John Calipari joined Jay Mohr Sports and in regards to the Donald Sterling controversy we asked him what his relationship was like as the former Nets head coach with ownership.

Calipari: "Bill Parcells asked me at one time when he was head coach of the Jets and I was with the Nets....what were the three most important things as a coach?....Number one, was the owner. Number two, the owner. And the third thing........the owner. When I was with the Nets, we were good. Then the team was sold. And then came in different owners, who didn't hire me. I deserved to be fired. The most important thing in pro sports if you're coaching is the relationship with that owner."
