Cedar Rapids Restaurant Week

Cedar Rapids Restaurant Week officially kicks off Friday, February 16, and the Cedar Rapids Metro Economic Alliance is bringing back popular features during this ten-day food lovers celebration including releasing the specialty menus!

The Restaurant Week punch card: Pick up a Restaurant Week punch card at any of the participating restaurants. Order a specialty menu item, or spend $20 on food, and you’ll receive a special stamp on the card. Collect at least five stamps and take the card, or mail it, to the Economic Alliance (501 First St SE, Cedar Rapids) to be entered into a drawing for chance to win a Restaurant Week gift basket.

Fork & Knife Feast Returns!  Fork & Knife Feast returns on Thursday, February 15 and will feature all the participating Cedar Rapids Restaurant Week restaurants. They’ll offer attendees samples of their culinary concoctions and a preview of some items that may be part of their special Cedar Rapids Restaurant Week menus. Tickets for the Fork & Knife Feast are on sale now and include food and drink samples for $75 in advance. This event is limited in number of tickets available due to capacity.

Locally owned restaurants featured! This year’s Cedar Rapids Restaurant Week puts a spotlight on local restaurants in Cedar Rapids and the surrounding area. All selected restaurants completed an application process and were chosen based on specific criteria including being locally owned and operated and a Cedar Rapids Metro Economic Alliance member. The chosen restaurants offer many diverse dining options at different price levels and each restaurant offers at least one specialty menu item for this event.

10 days to participate! The 12th Annual Restaurant Week will continue to span over ten days! With a wide variety of restaurants participating, foodies will have more days and opportunities to taste all that the participating restaurants have to offer. Restaurant Week runs over the course of two weekends, from February 16 to 25.

Diners are encouraged to have fun and put their foodie sharing skills to work by posting images and videos of Restaurant Week dishes on social media using #CRRestaurantWeek and tagging the Cedar Rapids Metro Economic Alliance. We encourage the community to support all local restaurants and establishments, not just during Restaurant Week, but more importantly year-round.
