Dodgers Set to Meet With Justin Verlander

Dodgers set to meet with a big name today.

According to Jon Heyman, the Dodgers are reportedly meeting with free agent Justin Verlander.

LA has been very willing to pay big money over short-term periods in the past to players. With Walker Buehler expected to miss the majority of the 2023 campaign as well due to Tommy John surgery, Verlander would be a great option to add to the starting rotation.

The Astros, Mets, and Yankees are still in the Verlander free agency conversation. Verlander turns 40 in February and will be limited in how many years he can reasonably ask for this offseason.
