The Los Angeles Dodgers completed a two-game sweep of the Chicago Cubs in Tokyo early this morning and Dan thinks they are already looking fearsome. They are the heavy favorites to repeat as World Series Champions this season and everything that happened in Japan only confirms their status as the team to beat in Major League Baseball.
Dan Patrick: “They may not need (Shohei) Ohtani to pitch this year. Imagine you’re in the National League West and you’re like, ‘Damn, we’re already two games behind the Dodgers,’ because nobody else has played except for the Dodgers and the Cubs. But they ended up winning. Ohtani homered in the game. This is just business as usual.”
