Doug Gottlieb Stands By Controversial Steph Curry/Peyton Manning Comparison

Listen to Doug Gottlieb defend a take he made on Monday before Golden State’s Game 4 loss in Houston that argued that Steph Curry’s game was not tailored for the physical rigors of the NBA postseason.

Gottlieb drew the ire of Twitter, most notably, Lakers forward Kyle Kuzma, after he compared Curry’s performances in the playoffs to that of Peyton Manning's: a guy who is one of the greatest regular season performers in the sport’s history, but one that is noticeably neutralized come postseason when he’s opposed by meaner and more ferocious PLAYOFF defenses.

Check out the audio sequel to Gottlieb’s take below, this time coming after the conclusion of Tuesday's Warriors Game 4 defeat that saw Steph have a 30-point night on 12 of 25 from the field, but one that also had him finish 4/14 (28.5%) from 3, including the game-losing shot in the dying seconds.
